Microsoft is preparing a “revolutionary” Windows with artificial intelligence

The system’s chatbot will become a full-fledged assistant with which you can communicate in natural language.

A new Windows roadmap is already taking shape within the walls of Microsoft, which is developing the next major update to the system called Hudson Valley. This update will be “revolutionary,” writes Windows Central.

Hudson Valley is notable for the tight integration of AI technologies into various components of the operating system. And some of those innovations may require a specific neural processing unit (NPU).

A key new feature will be the introduction of an AI-powered Windows Shell, complete with an advanced chatbot called Copilot. The latter will be able to run constantly in the background to improve search, run applications or workflows, and better understand context.
