Swiss company Proton has unveiled Proton Mail, a desktop application that includes mail and calendar. In the future, it will allow users to view emails offline.
Technically it can be done in the browser version, but you need to configure various bridges. The new client will save users from unnecessary actions.
The chip will allow you to view and create emails while travelling, power outages or in any other situation when you do not have access to the Internet. But sending and encrypting in offline mode will not be possible.
